The National Autumn Leaf Collectors Clubsm was founded, in the fall of 1978, by Nancy Brock and Norma Jones-Shaughnessey. The first club Newsletter was printed that same year. The NALCCsm now has more than 3700 members throughout the United States. In 1994 it was Incorporated as a "Not-for-Profit" Corporation and we filed for "Trademark" registration. In 1996 we were granted all rights to our trademark and it was duly registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office under the Trademark Act of 1946, as amended.
We publish six bi-monthly Newsletters per year, starting in January. They are filled with information regarding club events and upcoming shows, Officers' updates, educational features about Autumn Leaf and The Jewel Tea Company, members' letters and photos, a "Buy-Sell-Trade" section and more.
Members are given the opportunity to order "Club Pieces" each year. All club pieces are made by The Hall China Company in East Liverpool, Ohio and commissioned by the National Autumn Leaf Collectors Club®
We have an Annual Meeting and Convention. Each year it is held in a different location and hosted by the local members. That is where we handle our club business, hold "Room Sales," an Auction, good food and entertainment, and above all - great fellowship with the finest people you will ever meet. We even had a wedding once!
